OUR PRODUCTS

Where do you source your products?
Cambie textiles are sourced in Peru and Morocco, with many home items available in-store that are made in Canada. Every product we carry is curated by owner Camille Byrne. At Cambie, we believe all makers deserve fair treatment and sustainable wages and always ensure our products are produced and sourced ethically. 

What are Cambie blankets made of?
Our popular blankets are made from a special blend of hand-spun alpaca wool (20%) and acrylic fibres (80%) which, when combined, create a luxuriously soft wool that is durable against wear for frequent use. 

Do you carry 100% alpaca wool blankets?
Due to the extremely delicate nature of alpaca wool, we currently do not carry 100% alpaca wool blankets but are currently testing different natural blends for upcoming textile products to be introduced for sale through Cambie, but only once they have been perfected and worthy of the Cambie seal of approval!

How large are Cambie blankets?
Our Cambie blankets are approximately 72" x 55" in size. 

How do I care for my Cambie blanket?
Delicate in nature, we suggest dry cleaning and/or hand-washing your Cambie blanket to prevent pulls in the wool and misshaping the blanket.

What are Cambie rugs made of?
Our rugs are made of 100% hand-spun sheep's wool. The wool is dyed using natural dyes when available and each rugs is unique in colour and design. 

How large are Cambie rugs?
Due to the one-of-a-kind nature of these handmade textiles, please refer to each product description for an accurate measurement.

How do I care for my Cambie rug?
We suggest dry cleaning your Cambie rug to avoid misshaping and/or colour running.

Do you wholesale your products?
Sorry! We are currently not expanding our wholesale business. 

Do you accept large or custom orders?
If you are interested in a large or custom order, please contact camille@cambiedesign.com with your order inquiry and we will let you know if we are able to fulfill your request. 

SHIPPING, PAYMENT, AND RETURNS

Why is the cost at checkout different than what is displayed when adding product to my cart?
If you are a customer residing outside of Canada, you may notice your final amount at checkout is different than expected. All online checkouts are displayed in Canadian dollars (CAD) with exchange rates for US dollars (USD), British pounds (GBP), and Euros (EUR) updated hourly. This means the final cost of your purchase still reflects the total cost of products added to your cart, but it is now displayed in our base currency, Canadian dollars. 

Do you ship internationally?
Yes we do! For shipping details, please review "Online Shipping Policies" below. 

Do you accept gift cards. 
We do accept gift cards, available for purchase and redeemable in-store only. 

Do you accept returns?
All online orders are FINAL SALE. We offer an exchange-only policy for all undamaged and unused goods purchased in-store within a 14 day period with original receipt or a 4 week period with a gift receipt from the original date of purchase. Gift certificates may not be redeemed for cash or refunded and returned items that were purchased using a certificate will be refunded as credit onto a new one. Don’t worry, your gift certificate does not expire!

ONLINE SHIPPING POLICIES

Please allow 1-2 business days to process your order after it has been placed and understand that all sales are final. Shipping timelines provided are estimates. After you place an order, we will provide you with a tracking number (if applicable) but understand the possibility for delay, depending on customs or the postal company in your country.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: Customers are responsible to pay for any custom charges, duties or taxes charged to them by their country. 

IMPORTANT: Please note, we do NOT refund or resend lost or undelivered orders. Before finalizing payment, ensure you have selected an option that offers tracking services for location updates of your shipment.

Do you have a newsletter?
Yes we do! A sign up box can be found at the bottom of each page (including this one!) on our website. Expect occasional updates on new product and discounts exclusive to subscribers only.
