The Spot on Queen

I stumbled across this amazing idea a little while back and it immediately sparked an interest (local designers?! Very cool!). After seeing a tweet from The Spot looking for vintage vendors, I thought to myself "Hmm, could I be a part of this?". I sent some photos to the organizers, discussed the possibility with a couple of friends and after receiving only positive feedback - I knew it was meant to be! For those of you who have been following me since last year, you are well aware of my adventure to and from Newfoundland, arriving to Toronto with a van FULL of beauitful vintage furniture. Thinking the vintage finds would pair nicely with these alpaca wool blankets, I have brought a large load back from Peru and have set up shop at The Spot on Queen! This past weekend was their opening weekend and it very inspiring being among so many talented people: the other vendors, the organizers, visitors, bloggers and many wonderful designers. I am so happy to be a part of this group! I will be rotating vintage pieces of furniture and graphic blankets for sale over various weekends throughout the summer. You can see my June dates on the poster below by the ever so talented, Anthony Menecola. If you're in Toronto, you have to stop by and check out the rotating weekly designers at the market every weekend from now until Labour Day (details at the very bottom). Also make sure to follow the Spot on Facebook and Twitter. Hope to see your wonderful faces out there!
