One of my final outings in Newfoundland was to the ridiculously charming community of Keels. I was fortunate enough to enter some of the local houses and was reminded of my fondest characteristic of a typical Newfoundland home - it's history. This one house in particular had been stripped to it's raw skeleton and man, did it have a story to tell! The textures were amazing. On certain walls you could see the various layers of wallpaper used over many decades. I can only imagine the transition of decor in each of the rooms!

That last image reads like such a history of in-your-face wallpaper.
    I love it!
